CROOKED I - WEST COAST '96 (Official Discussion)

--- Quote from: dnjp4life on July 10, 2026, 01:36:08 PM ---I loved that hip-hop weekly series, used to really anticipate seeing what beats Crooked I would pick each week and be excited to hear each one week after week and see how it developed.
I remember a few of them Crooked went all out on the track and they made me a massive fan of his. The one with the Horseshoe Gang about 8 weeks in was a particular standout.
Need to go back and revisit those weeklys for sure.

Yeah dude, I know the one you mean; can't remember the name of it either. Super tight.
Anyone have the whole series in CDQ?
WCThang:
The hip-hop weekly series was the peak of Crooked I career tbh.
Soopafly DPGC:
Hip hop Weekly was the highlight of my week. Was so bummed when he started it up again and only got through about 20 weeks. But hey, getting free Crooked music every week for a year, dude has a fan for life in me.
WCThang:
I'm excited that he's actually dropping this album. I hope he went out and got some West Coast features. Some combination of like Kurupt, Tray Deee, King Tee and Xzibit. Don't him and Tray Deee do a podcast together?
astra4322:
Crooked and Kurupt week after week - nice summer 8)
