Not sure why Dre would use AI, when he has a team of musicians around him...

Dude, the AI that's available is not that good. You can out-reason it with logic traps and manipulate it easily.

Psychotic billionaires are just trying to convince everyone with PR that it's the new wave of the future so they can stay at the top of the food chain and live forever lol. Never mind the waste and pollution factor. Or the fact that the same companies who are creating memory scarcity because of their AI arms races are hiking their own prices on consumers (I'm talking to you Microsoft, Amazon, and Sony). They're literally boxing people out of their own ecosystems and making things like gaming a luxury. Nobody wants this. It's dumb lol.

In the meantime, they've got prototype models that are trying to escape their controls, hacking into systems, cheating if they don't have an answer, and trying to communicate in invented languages that circumvent human oversight. The Nobel Prize winning pioneer of the technology - Dr. Geoffrey Hinton - said at its full potential, it could wipe out humanity over the next 30 years and warned about it during his acceptance speech lol. Not exactly a best case scenario for anyone lol. Any innovative methods for AI use are largely being sidelined for commercial slop.

I'm with Quik on this one.  Wonder how much Dre is getting paid to have his opinion.  Maybe him and Jimmy have some AI music program in the works.

Sad thing is that Dre's work hasn't been this bad in a long time, so if he is using A.I.  he should consider stopping and going back to making good music again.

Interscope plays a major part in the future of multi media and tech. Look at Will.I.Am he is way more advanced on this A.I stuff

Dre is not talking about generative AI for music composition but other uses of the technology in sampling, processing audio and such. Quik on the other hand IS talking about generative AI. Quik also spoke about using AI tools for other stuff too. see how easily this stuff gets spun by the online media for clicks?

I didn't even consider that.
