Mahomes is starting to look like his old self too

my Jets had a great opening week but since then lost 2 straight

they have been in every game however so I do see some marked improvement

Mahomes has always been the same Mahomes, he's just added the spectacular Kenneth Walker to the backfield now to keep the defense honest..

...last year he was having to pull double duty and led the team in rushing in a lot of games (and he's not even a Lamar Jackson type rushing QB)

It's all about Kenneth Walker.  All the other narratives is just to fill air time, Eric Bienemy, Mahomes finding other ways to win, Mahomes being back, blah, blah, blah.

Look, Mahomes is Mahomes.  He's always been arguably the best player in the league since his first time starting.  Reid and Bienemy and Spags always been good coaches.

People just want something to talk about.

But the only real news is the chiefs have a legit 1,000 yard + bell cow 🐮 now and we are 5-0.  Done ✅ that's the story.

Well that's why I put "arguably" and that's an argument for another day.  I certainly would argue that Mahomes has been the league MVP every year he's been a starter — and my proof is that if we made every player a free agent and we had a draft— he would be drafted #1 every season.

But that's not the point of my post — my post was just to say Mahomes is Mahomes — the story line this year is all about Kenneth Walker in KC — and all other discussion are just to fill air time
