im not tryin to diss you Krimson BUT

dont you buy albums based on your own opinion or gut instict   or because u happen to like the artist

for example yesterday i went out and picked up the Inspectah Deck cd even after hearing mixed reviews about it and i didnt hear any song off the album, i just got it cause im a big INS Rebel fan

same thing with the freddie foxxx cd and Brotha Lynch Hung

that lil chill cmon u passed it up cause it had 10 songs  cmon thats no way to judge an album and now u want it cause everybody else says its good, that is now way to be your own self as a hip hop fan

i asked the other day about little brother the other day only because i have heard so many good things about it but if i was gonna buy it, it would be because i want it for myself
another example is that alot of peeps in here like Spice1 but i dont, dont ask why     i dont care how many people tell me to get his albums i wont cause i aint feelin him, i wont buy an album because people rate it a classic

Bottom Line, Yo Krimson just buy the albums on your own instinct or support of the artist and not because other people rated it good, i aint tryin to diss but everyone has a different ear for music and you should too

unlike some others over here Krimson is what I consider 'open minded'.. if u don't know an album at all and u ain't got no chance to listen to it u'll have to base ur decision on other people's oppinion

i aint got no problem at all with krimson, and yes he is definitely open minded but why does he want every album he is going to buy rated????????  he has calm down since his EM28 days but it seems like he is posting more of these "rate these albums threads" like his old days, i appreciate his open mindness but cmon when u ask whether u should get that lil chill album after it hasnt spoken on so much or any epmd or so, its like in high school, u follow the cool crowd just to be cool, they jump the bridge u do it too type of shit

why not just listen to samples off kazaa and shit or amazon

and if u were referrin to me as not open minded damn u got the wrong person do you ever, Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one thats why i most of the time i dont buy music on others peoples opinions, i gotta actually like it

Just a question, do you buy your music based on other peoples opinions??????? I do if its something i have never ever heard of in my life or if i got no source to listen to it

I'm not, I don't even know u..

I just said how I see it and he does listen to samples plus I'm sending him tracks of albums often so he can decide..

and no I ain't buyin my music based on other people's opinions
