When it comes to my hip-hop, I love the real shit, my old school 'Pac, current Nas, hell Mos Def and Rawkus, and M.C. Eiht, D.J. Quik, basically everything that most people consider "real", I just call rap music. Snoop has always been one of my favorites, so naturally when I heard he was working with the Neptunes, I wasn't exactly excited by the move, but I bought the album anyways. A girl I was trying to get with at the time, since it came out on Thanksgiving week, and this was the day after Thanksgiving, listened to my CD and fell in love with the song Beautiful. Later that night, she wanted to listen to the song on repeat, so we did, and made out like a muthaphukka. Since then we had a great friendship, and had a few more adventures as we have circled the bases a few times. But her song has and always will be Beautiful. Since school has ended, I can't stop listening to that song, or watching the video because I think of her all the damn time. The video is in Brazil, and homegirl is from Peru, and always talks about Brazil as her favorite country to visit. The song, the video, I can't believe I like a Snoop/Neptune song this much. I hated the Chuuurch song, but Beautiful I can't get out my damn head since November, and it's late June. Crazy. But I do gotta thank the combination of Snoop and Neptunes for the coming together and making that song, 'cause it started a lot of me educating her on real hip-hop to me. She love Rawkus, and most everything out the DPGC camp that I own. But damn, I just had to write this to all those that say Snoop sold out. Maybe he did, but it helps me with the girls, like Fabolous, and Nelly, only I can actually listen to sold out Snoop. And why should he not sell out, after all, his been in the game 11 years since Deep Cover, his done his job. Let my man get paid, and make more tracks for my baby and I.

dogg... it just happened. We was listening to th CD, I had just got it. She like the song, it was on repeat 'cause she asked for it to be, the out of no where. Shit, it was that way with Jayo Felony song Lovely. We are weird, but that was the first track. It was not planned. But for reals, I never knock anyone's music, except Nelly dissing KRS-One 'cause that's disrespectful. But making tracks like Beautiful is cool. LL Cool J had Around the Way Girl, I Need Love, Hey Lover, Pharcyde had Passin' Me By, Mos Def had Ms. Fat Booty... lol... Common Come Close, 2Pac had numorious love songs, and nice tracks. It's all good. Don't hate on an emcees 'cause what they doing. Hell, Snoop/Neptunes can work together as much as they want. I never complain about. If I don't like it, I don't buy it, 'nuff said.

I don't mind the track beautiful, I like it.  From the church to the palace's beat was wack as fuck tho.  The reason I am pissed at snoop, cause he has so much talent all around him, yet he goes and chooses to work with people such as the neptunes.  I'll admit, I have no idea what the neptunes soundlike besides the snoop tracks and any other wc tracks I have heard them on.  But I also didn't get hooked on rap from the neptunes.  Why would I ever ever want to hear a Neptunes produced snoop track over a warren g, dre, daz, soopafly, fred wreck, battle cat, meech wells?  On paid da cost snoop had no warren g, dre, or daz tracks.  maybe 1 soopafly track, and one or two of the others.  And fuck yeah I would take a g-funk beat over a neptunes beat anyday.  I don't rely on Snoop Dogg to get me laid, I listen to him for entertainment.
