List some of the slang words in your part of town and their meanings.

Bostin = good

Never used it, as I'm not a proper Brummie myself, but a guy at work assures me it's a genuine term.

safe  safe (usually said twice)         means everything is alright sorted

boxed       means everything is cool same meaning as the others

buzzin    kind of means the same as the previous used whem thingsd are good

we use tha word Burnt down hea. But it dont really mean ugly. We use it, if sumthin is jus bullshit...or wack. Like, "that shitz burnt"

Yeah we use burnt like if somethin is dead, played out, not funny, etc.

Everybody has heard most West Coast/L.A. slang, but here is some that people out of town hear me say and they don't really know what I am talkin about:

Bangin/banged on - "Damn he got banged on when he tried to run out the house" - In this sense, it's not about bein "gangbanged" on or hit up, but just gettin rode on, gettin told off, gettin clowned, dissed, insulted, put on the spot, etc. etc.

Bangin - "That song is bangin!" - Tite, dope, nice, etc. etc. etc.

Nutty - "That song is nutty!" - Same as above

Hard - "That song is hard!" - Same as above

Hard - "That negga think he hard" - Tough, bold, gangsta, etc. etc.

Fade that how! - (Some stupid azz Gardena Slang) - "She said she don't suck dick? Fade her how!!" - just somethin stupid or funny u say when somebody says somethin either dumb, suprising, somethin u don't agree with, etc.

Freeze up - "Man as soon as he saw tha crips walkin over to him and they started questioning him, he started to freeze up" - As basic as it sounds. When somebody gets nervous, and they can't think straight or talk straight, as if their mind went blank.

Bombed on, fired on, socked out, Took off - "That negga got bombed on! That negga got socked out! He took off on that negga!" - Just as it sounds, gettin punched real hard

Toxic (Isn't too common) - "That beat he let me hear was on some toxic shit" - On some different shit, but usually in a good way, as it bein tite, good, etc.

Toxic - "Man she tite but I think that chick is toxic" - Infested, sick, got a STD

Flip/Flipper - (As Roscoe said) - "Damn, she used to be a good girl! Too bad she got flipped" - To get turned out, to do some hoeish activities...a flipper is a hoe.

Simp/Simpin (Bay Area I think) - "Damn that negga is always stayin at home talkin on the phone, tell him to stop simpin!" - I hear people down south say this is what they call cakin, and bein a Captain Kirk is bein the same as what we call a simp. It is short for bein sympathetic, or bein hella nice to a female, bein sensitive and shit with her. It can be coo, but some dudes get offended if somebody calls em a simp because it has a bad connotation that simps get played easily.

Mad Dog - "Dammn....y was that negga over there mad doggin u so hard?" - To stare at somebody real hard...people in the south and east call it mean muggin.

Leavin somebody on stuck (As in 3 Strikes) - "Why u leave tha lil homie on stuck?" - Leavin somebody in a bad situation, basically leavin em stuck, just with the words twisted around.
