The Anaheim Angels have just clinched their first playoff berth
since 1986 with a 10-5 victory over the Texas Rangers. With the
win, the Angels also pulled to within 2 1/2 games of the Oakland
A's for first place in the American League West. The A's finish
their three-game series with the Seattle Mariners Thursday night.
The Halos will complete their regular season this weekend at home
with a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners.
