I thought this was an exellent movie.. I havnt seen anything else like it at all.. The only thing that comes close to it (in terms of race and stuff) is A Bronx Tale and even that isnt really nothing like it!

i doubt the scene would be more remembered if they actually show it.  The only reason its famous is cuz of that they didnt actually show and it leaves you to your imagination
