plus didn't vince say he had to make bret drop the title that night or he'd never drop it at all. he said he couldn't have him showing up to nitro with HIS belt. bret had a major ego problem and would somehoe convince vince to let him keep it for one more match than another than another....vince said bret would never let it go. but i mean fuck bret shouldn't get so up  tight from this.....it's VINCE"S belt. you might be the "champion" but it ain't Your belt it's vince's your just an actor playing a role, your not  the super bowl champion here. bret's too into it

Also, look at it this way.  Nobody even GIVES A SHIT that he lost that night! Nobody cares, it's not like he was undefeated or something.  Vince asked him to lose, he refused.  What a dumb fuck, he thinks Vince was wrong to make him lose?   like they said, Vince is the boss, he makes the decisions, not a friekin' whining champ who's leaving the company anyways.  

And either way you look at it, it's a friekin ANGLE, it was scripted, maybe he wasn't in on the script (LOL) but it's an angle.  That's business.  Shawn doesn't hate Bret, Shawn didn't really BEAT Bret, Vince doesn't HATE bret, it's all a friekin' storyline.  Bret's the only one with sore feelings, he's a friekin' crybaby.  

Perfection:
Bret Hart didn't want to lose the title in Canada, he was going to lose the title the next night on Raw. And by the way in case you didn't know in Bret's contract with the WWE it said that Bret had creative control over his character for his last 30 days in the WWE. So according to the contract that Vince gave Bret back then, Bret got to make the decision on how he would leave the WWE, not Vince.

And Bret never was going to show up at Nitro with the WWE title. So stop bad mouthing Bret.
