Ras Kass - Soul On Ice
« on: July 14, 2003, 10:57:14 PM »
does anyone have this album? this shit is hard to find. I've been searching for the past year and i havn't ran across it. If anyone knows where i can find the this please get in contact wit me. I'll pay big $$ for it.

on other notes, i think this album would have been great if the production was solid. Its the best album lyrically to come out of the west.  I dont think ras has been the same since this shit came out. He was on another level when he made this shit.

You will have to buy it secodn hand somewhere. I'm pretty sure its out of print. Try Ebay or something.

The beats fit rassy perfect. Ras needs hip hop beats. Nice grimmy beats. Just my opninion anway.

at first i thought the production kinda sucked too but then i just sat back and listened to it real carefully and the production is on point with his style, im sorry y'all but gangsta, G Funk beats dont really fit Ras that well

this album gets the same opinion as the Sly Boogy album with many peeps saying the production was mediocre but really it fits him perfectly

Good Luck finding this album though, its one of the toughest to find, Ebay has them from time to time but get ready to shell out some cash for it

Mine too  ;)

Ras will never be a classic artist for me due to the wackness of his second album, but SOI was a classic record from start to finish.

My copy's on cassette  >:( Never have been able to find it on CD.
