Not true. As always the manc loving murdoch press have blown it out of all proportions.
The stadium will cost £317m. Granada are thought to be pumping in £30m once the loans are secured, Highbury will fetch £60-80m and the housing being built as part of the development will bring Arsenal a minimum of £75m profit over and above the costs of building it.
The reason why Arsenal are £43m in debt at present is due to the fact that we have pumped in our own money in to start the clearance works and of course the planning costs. Once the loans are in place Arsenal will be in a position to take back that money for transfers or whatever they see fit.

yo wat up 4kin, long time no talk playa, anyways imma united fan and lemme break shit down to for y'all.................silvestre and rio in the centre back positions and shea left back and wes right back is great, gary neville is still shit, prone to makin to many mistake, and no rio wasnt class last season but he definately got stronger as the season went on...........but as for being wank, fuck na, dont matta how good you are, u need a partner, plus jay, rio is as much as a playboy typa cuz as ronaldinhio, still wished we would have gotten him, and yes sol cambell is def mor reliable than rio but rio is class no doubt, this season he'll get stronger...................
now on a side note.................doesnt anyone feel sorry for wes brown? everytime he comes back, he seems to be gettin better and better than gets injured, and its gonna fuck with his pace to, his not as fast as he was when he was younger due to all these injuries...........another reason why he gets injured again is cuz as soon as he gets fit, fergie dont give him a chance to slowy get back into things, never rests him, keeps playin him game after game, but i tell u wat, his a class defender as is oh shea, rio and silvestre..........we dont even need that french left back we was gonna get anymore cuz of these kids, dope eh.........
