Who did Jesus pray to?

jesus's life as man was metaphoric to how WE as christians should live....so him praying was an example of how to pray
his whole purpose of coming down to earth as man was not to say horray i'm god and you're not, worship me......no it was to be the sacrifice of man and to show us how to live.

so "God" came down to earth, let people spit at him, punish him, misstreat him, and then he asked himself for permision to hold all mankind's sins on his shoulder...
that make no sense.....

Jesus prayed to his father God. Jesus is Lord, I don't recall anyone calling him God.
If it wasn't for Jesus dying the way he did, then no one would've been able to get into Heaven, because when Jesus died he opened the gates of Heaven.

when i was teaching sunday school to 2nd graders i stumbled upon that question often. It is one of those many mysteries things that God has set upon his children. before the death of christ, he promised his desiples that he was going to send help to them.. and thats why the holy spirit sets foot into play... making God three in one... Jesus is God because he is the Son of God.. but he is Still God...
lol.. in class was had a diagram to show the children.. so it was easier to explain... lol..
oh well...
