Ya i would say the rule changes has alot to do with it. Back then when magic played you got your ass beat, now mr stern stepped in and opened up the game with a finesse/entertainment style where its more gaurd oriented. Alonzo Mourning would go to prison if he played today for some of the crap he used to do lol
I would've liked to see magic with todays rules-so wide open

magic johnson's apg high was 13.1...lebron has never even been close to 10. he's closer to bird than he is to magic. but bird was a far superior rebounder.

lebron isn't a point guard though. he's a forward who averages 7 assists per game. but picture a guy just an inch shorter than Magic, who weights 30-40 pounds more of pure muscle and doesn't have aids. That's what Bron is.
