There has been talk amongst some industry sources that the Triple H vs. Bill Goldberg main event for SummerSlam will most likely take a backseat to whatever matches involve the McMahon family at the big PPV no matter how much they are hyped
thats why i think it will be kane vs. shane

The main event is going to be Lesnar vs Angle for the WWE Championship. For the reason that those 2 are 2 of the biggest names in the company and the fact that it will be the best match on the night, which should end up being close to a 30 min. match. HHH vs Goldberg wasn't going to be the main event ahead of Lesnar vs Angle because Goldberg can't do a match that's more then 10 min.

i know lesnar/angel will be the main event from the smackdown side but in my opinion i think that it will shae vs. kane from the raw side as their main event. a for goldberg vs. hhh it will be longer than 10 minutes that si why they had that fight after raw yesterday so they could "practice" the match in front of a crowd since goldberg's contract has a limited dates clause in it. so he doesnt do too many house shows

Their not going have the best match of the night not be the main event. Angle vs Lesanr has a chance to be one of the greatest matches of all time. Angle vs Lesnar at WrestleMaina was a great match and Angle had a broken neck, so just think how great the match will be at SummerSlam. They wouldn't put this match anywhere else but the main event.
The last 2 times a Goldberg match has gone over 10 min (the match with The Rock and Jericho) the fans have turned on Goldberg and started cheering for the other guy and they start saying Goldberg Sucks.
