More Pooter Questions
« on: August 07, 2003, 11:20:01 PM »
(Pooter=Computer..just wanted ur attention)

Im new with XP.
On Win98, if you hit control alt delete it would show you all the programs you had running. If you wanted to stop these programs from running you would just end task it and then go to "run" and type in "/msconfig".
I realized my computer was running slow, and its a brand new computer and it shouldnt be doing this. I hit control alt delete and I have 48 programs running. I could end task them, but they have weird ass names and I dont know which ones I need running. Is there /msconfig type thing that I could do and just restart my computer so that these programs dont come up on startup?

msconfig works the same on xp as it did on pervious versions of windows. That is an assload of fucking programs running. I'd recommend you do what your thinking of doing  ;D
