Pirates of the Caribbean

Saw this last night with the missus. Much, much more enjoyable than I was expecting - takes a lot for a film to keep me interested for 2 hours +, but this did it. Reminded me of those family action films I would have loved as a kid.

Oh, and as an aside, I was happy to see the actor who plays Gareth in BBC's The Office getting his shine on.  :D

haha yeah he was kinda funny! :)

good film.... i've seen it said that it reminds some people of tha 'monkey island' games.. dunno if many here remember those.. but i was a big fan back in the day!

lollol... when the missus bought a PC for uni she got a free Monkey Island game with it... good memories of visiting her in halls and playing it while she revised. I love watching people who don't normally play computer games attempt them, jerking about in the seat in the direction they want the character to go. Priceless entertainment. ;D

Oh yeah, and back to the movie - did anyone get how, i -- nope, I've just realised I'll be bringing up something that'll spoil the film for anyone who hasn't seen it. My bad...
