why the illegalize something that doesnt have a real effect on "human life", yet turns a profit?

the government isnt so corrupt for them to murder every single cow just so farmers would make more of a profit, animal activists help when it comes to shit like that and sooner or later everyone would have reached an agreement, unfortunately i have no clue what that settlement is..
its different that us, humans and maybe monkeys are the only species that can reason, that know they are alive and value life.. other species think but they lack the ability to assimilate.. thats what separates us from the rest and tahts why we own this world.. tough shit
