Eazy-E "Impact Of A Legend" R.I.P.

^^ some real shit!  They did an amazing job of putting this project together.. IMO, but alot of mixed opinions overall.  I think they couldve promoted it better and maybe that had something to do with it..  One thing I notice right off was the recording quality.  They mixed this album perfectly.  Bass knocked.. the highs and the mids came in crystal!!!  I loved it from the mixing job alone.

MayBe if it had atleass 1 Eazy solo song. They had thoze no-name'd loozerz all over tha alBum.

^^ Valid point!! and as I recall alot of die hard Eazy fans didnt appreciate that either and blamed it all on Tomica.  Good point though.. thx.

Snoop Dogg - "Paid The Cost To Be The Boss"

and

Snoop presents The Doggystle All-Stars - "Welcome To The House Vol 1."

I really like both these albums and they both were extremely well produced, which is important to me.

Doggfather (my fave Snoop album) Top Dogg, all Quik's that were hated, Ice Cube - War, Canibus 2000 BC, Nas It Was Written I Am & Nastradamous (Not great but not horrible either)

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
