Quick to judge? Man.. Ming totally miss the defence!! He doesnt know the fundamentals in defence, and he doesnt use his big body. He suffered the body of Marconato, lol. What about NBA Centers? (not to mention Shaq).

Nobody is saying he's totally a fool, just that he didnt deserve the number 1 pick, cause he still needs a lot of years to became a player! Jay is a done player!!! Ming is just a prospect. I mean... c'mon.. the only interesting thing is his body! Dont joke! And i think Houston made the same mistake Clippers did with Olowokandi! Just the body? WTF? Buy done players!

teams that are a run and gun team hardly use D.  Just look at Dirk Nowiztki , he sucks and defense and he is ranked as one of the top players in the NBA, now im not saying Yao Ming is gonna be a top NBA Player. but im tellin you guys a new age of basketball is forming. There is gonna be around 4-6 teams with over 100 PPG, this year. Teams that will be running....

Golden State
Dallas blah blah blah

the point is, more teams are leaving the set defense. Giving a big advantage to teams like Seatle, Lakers, and Spurs.  so Yao ming will only have difficulty with  a few teams. We still gotta see how he performs
