Freddy vs Jason" made 40 million in 2 days...LoL...That's more than "Halloween Ressurection" made all together (including its Video/DVD release)...Now when you say the last 2 Freddy and Jason movies, I know you mean "New Nightmare" and "Jason X," correct? Well, "New Nightmare" isn't even really a Freddy movie, it's more of a spin-off, which really doesn't even go with the other sequels...Wes Craven really wanted to do that movie, even though he knew for a fact it wouldn't make money...The last REAL Freddy movie was "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare," which pulled in around 50 million (I believe)...And like I said, "Jason X" was a huge mistake..."Halloween: Ressurection" didn't make nearly as much as predicted, and if "Halloween 9" is gunna be anything like the last (which it looks like it's going to be), I don't see it doing so well either...Plus, "Freddy vs Jason" was planned 16 years ago when they were both in their prime, so you can't say they made the movie because Freddy and Jason weren't bringing in money...LoL...PeACe

You're right to some extent, but horror movies aren't MADE to be horrible, otherwise people wouldn't like them...They're meant to look cool on screen, they're meant to scare you at certain points, and they're meant to just be fun for the most part...The story-line doesn't have to be amazing, but it can't be horrible either (like "Jason X" for example)...It has to appeal to the fans and to the viewer, just like Freddy and Jason have been doing for the past 20 years...Whatever though, I try to ignore Javier as much as I can, because he seems real ignorant...

Thanks for pointing that out for Tom...Like I said, Freddy movies have always done good...He's one of the only slashers who hasn't died out yet..."Jason X" was a horrible movie, and that's why it bombed...The fans hated it, and the mainstream audience hated it as well...Whatever though, I'm not much of a Jason fan anyways...PeACe

I'd love that. Myers was always one of my favorite franchise killaz, tho the Halloween line-up contains also very trashy parts.
