Daily Operation, i've heard all their albums except Step In The Arena they're all dope tho.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Step In The Arena by far...

esp for Just To Get A Rep, classic storytelling from guru.

look at the later gang starr albums and see how many later track names and themes originate back with this  (e.g..  'daily operation' / 'Mad brothers know his name'  ) and other songs on this album

For me it's gotta be moment of truth. You can play that album front to back no problem years later... closley followed by Step in the arena...

and that Guru Jazzmatazz album had some great track on it too...
"Nigga what up now?. you act like a bitch, you bound to get fucked, you trick ass snitch!" - Snoop Dogg - "Buck Em"

"Stranded on death row for pumpin slug's in muthafucka's" - Kurupt - "Stranded on Death Row"

Here's a message to the youngsters today, standing by you can die - Nate Dogg - "One More Day"

Battle Record 1-0

It's Moment Of Truth.

But I don't have No More Mr. Nice Guy or the Guru solos.

No idea.  :)

I'm still amazed 'Premier In Deep Concentration' wasn't on Full Clip in some ways.
