Talib Kweli actually got nominated for a Source award!!

<< < (3/3)

BriLLoDoGG:
Single of the Year - Male Solo Artist
"In Da Club" - 50 Cent (Producer: Dr. Dre)
"Hot In Herre" - Nelly (Producer: Neptunes)
"Rock the Party" - Benzino (Producer: Mario Winans)
"Thugz Mansion" - Tupac feat. Anthony Hamilton (Producer: 7 Aurelius)
"Good Times" - Styles (Producer: Swizz Beatz)

its all rigged, benzino should not be on there

West Coast Veteran:
Talib has been nominated before in the same category back in 2001.

Nas is going to win. Jay-Z and Scarface have already won. Talib and GZA are not "mainstream" enough to win an award from the Source. They only award "popular" rappers (eg. Nelly won best album of the year with Country Grammar).

Other best lyricists of the year at the Source awards:
1994 - Snoop Doggy Dogg
1995 - The Notorious B.I.G.
1999 - Jay-Z
2000 - Eminem
2001 - Scarface

eS El Duque:

Dj Eskimo:
