While I was at work with my dad in the flower market, i started readin the Sports Section of the L.A times. I see 4 articles on the U.S. Basicall the theme is, WE SHOULD BE IN THE SEMIS.  Yes they did play good against Germany, but that is the only game out of all 5 they played. USA surprised Portugal, they were this close in the score being a tie. They hanged on against Korea. and they got embarrased by Poland. and the weirest game of the Cup so far was against Mexico, because of Aguirre's dumb decisions, Mcbride's fist punchin the ball away and so on. well back to the topic, here are some quotes from the LA TIMES.........

Then they have a whole page on why USA should have tied because of the hand bal in the beggining of the second half. First of all it was the ball hit the defender accidently and therefore no offense is commited.  Second of all,  do they even remember MEXICO VS USA,  McBride's fucken fist hit the ball out of their own area.

USA should have beaten Germany, one of the Germans (Schneider I think) handballed it on the line - which is a penalty and a sending off - maybe that was revenge for O'Brien

This isn't as bad as when you told me that Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica would have great World Cups, but it's close.

oh and my whole point was that the U.S should not be complaining about the refs, since thats one of the main reasons they got there in the first place
