No one cares who Rakim signs with...he is not on Aftermath anymore, so why are we following news on him. Without Dr. Dre...the album will be some old retread medicore crap music. A couple of tracks from Dre on the album, is not going to satisfy my appetite. I am still pissed over waiting 3 years and when the album is finally about to drop, this clown walks away...I hate to say but I can careless about another Rakim album.

if rakim only gotta use a couple of dre beats he better give the other productions beats back to dre so he could use it for other dope artists of aftermath/shady and i agree with Tired!!!

Damn!!! I am glad it not's me and you guys see this the same way. As far as Vernon is concern...take your ass to a Rakim fan site or something. We have mad love for Rakim, but shit...this is "Aftermath"...not "I Was On Aftermath".

Dr. Dre is the best producer out there...hands down..has been for years. Everyone knows Rakim has dope lyrics, but with out the beats...he is another Canibus. Spitting dope rhymes over average beats. You don't believe me...remember the " 18th Letter "...my point is this playa...For whatever reason Rakim left Aftermath, his ass is gone now..so be it. That's like trying to do an NWA Album without Dr. Dre's production....see my point.

Aftermath / Shady...you better ask somebody!
