Trauma-san:
A bunch of movies had great endings.  The Return of the Jedi, when Luke killed Darth Vader, E.T., An Officer & a Gentleman when Lou Gossett & Richard Gere got in a fight, and when he was carrying his girl off they played "LUV LIFFFT US UP wheah WE BELONNNNNGGGGG" awesome ending.

The original Friday the 13th, where at the end, the girls sitting on the boat, and the cops just showed up, and you think everything's finally over, then right there in broad daylight, Jason jumps out of the water and pulls her out of the boat. Scared the SHIT out of me the first time I saw it.

Psycho 2, at the end, they're dragging Norman Bates off to the funny farm (again) and he reveals right before they drive off that he has his mom's mummified hand under his shirt.  Nasty.

what about CARLITOS WAY, I thought the ending was class.  The way the sign turned to Gail and his kid dancing in the sun.......beautiful.
