Suga Free Album Release Party...Sept 26th In L.A.

Ya friendly neighborhood playa patna, the Pomona Pimp himself, Suga Free, will be at Club Alondra in the City of Bellflower, here in L.A., on Friday Sept. 26th for his album release party. The event is being presented by Pimpology 101, it's an 18 & Over show, with 21 & up able to drink, as usual. Along with Suga Free, East Coast Conference All Star, the producer/rapper J-Zone and Mighty Casey(You know him from his song "White Girls" which was played on BET Uncut) will be performing. Doors open at 7pm and are going to close at 3am. Features include: a Reggae Lounge, a Graffiti Exhibit, Vendor Booths, an Open Mic room and an Old School 3 on 3 battle, 2 Emcees & 1 DeeJay on each side. The prize is $500 cash. The Hip Hop Show will be there taping. And, as always, strict security, no gang attire.

i wish i lived in the area to go.....

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
