Arizona has Shilling and Johnson, most baseball experts say that those 2 will get hot soon and when those 2 are hot no team can have better pitching.

That being said the Philles will win the Wild Card.

most baseball experts were wrong this year, what was johnson this year 4-8...he got beat last night by a rookie making his debut...he's 40 years old, he's through with...

They said this about 2 weeks ago. Plus Johnson and Schilling have been injuried for most of the year. And this prediction is coming from ESPN's Peter Gammons, who is the best baseball guy around, and I rather take his advice about Arizona rather then some Dodger fan's advice about LA. The only opinion in LA that really matters when it comes to baseball is Vin Scully, and pretty much no one else.

Dude, I'm not telling you to take advice from me, I'm just stating my opinion...I could give a fuck what you think or believe....It's been said by baseball experts that Dodgers have the deepest pitching staff...so whats your fucking point?

Dodgers can send a pitcher for 5 innings and the bullpen can handle the rest

check out the bullpen
Paul Quantril
Guillermo Mota
Paul Shuey
Erig Gagne

combined these guys have an ERA of...1.84!!!

now the 5 man rotation consists of
Kevin Brown
Hideo Nomo
Odalis Perez
Wilson Alvarez
Andy Ashby (5.84 ERA) their ERA is 3.70!!
and right now they are not using Ashby n their rotation
and Edwin Jackson started his first game this season and beat Randy Johnson.

This yearthe Dodgers have the BEST pitching staff...even if Randy andCurt would be healthy...the other 3 pitchers dont hang
