busted? can you get busted for dl on mirc like kazaa? i don't dl alot but fuck i wanna dl a song here and there ya know

Naww.. they go after the rip-groups, bot-owners/mp3 channel-owners ..
That's why they're all on shells. (Shells = Hidden IP, makes you untraceable)

Besides.. Kazaa had 200 million users plus plus..
mIRC isn't even more than a few hundred thousand or so.. and most of them are regular chatters.

mIRC (efnet) is monitored more than any other irc network around.. there are like 4 or 5 servers on efnet that the feds monitor.. monitoring one server lets them see EVERYTHING that is typed, except for dcc chats/sends. everytime you /msg bot xdcc send #xxx that gets logged .. they havent used it to catch people that get shit for themselves.. but it wont be long before they do

all a shell does is make them think you're comin' from somewhere else .. the shell you use still keeps track of who accessed it at what time.. they have to by law
