I Heard E-40 On East Coast Radio!!
« on: September 18, 2003, 04:30:56 PM »
I was at work yesterday & these 2 idiots put the radio on (Buffalo station which normally plays crap) but then I was surprised, I heard E-40! They played Quarterbackin feat The Clipse. Of course the morons I work with didn't know it but oh well. Just thought y'all would like know The Bay is doing major things!

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
