That is a helluvalot....for one he's a new artist. Two, he's not gonna sell but so much bein a new artist related to Eminem comin right after 50. Three, he didn't have near the publicity 50 had. 50 had two catchy ass singles to help him sell. Got some teeth is fair, a lotta people think it sucks tho. Also, Obie doesn't really have that commercial appeal as Em or 50. Then too, Joe Budden got way more promotion that Obie, and he only sold 80,000 his first week. And everybody at my school has this shit bootleg but barely any of em bought it. So goin silver his first week is a helluva accomplishment if u ask me.

Pretty good for Obie... Pick a good second single and you got a gold record. He might maybe, just maybe, go platinum eventually if they market him right - have the right singles, make appearances at the right places with the right people...

just a question, how did they release this album, and droped ra ( i think they really dindt, but it will unfold), cause u know ra would have sold at lease 150-200 in his first week, so why they drop him but release obie???

Dam, I was expecting him to go gold first week out, oh well...250,000+ ain't that bad...that's about what Ja Rule sold first week with his last album...
