The Source is a joke & not even worth mentioning

It used to be dope, but since like 1998-1999 one of the mags creaters left because he didnt like how The Source started giving out "Mics" in there reviews by accepting money from record labels. Pathetic excuses for albums were suddenly given 4-4.5 mics

Back in the day the reviews were fair, & you knew if something was 4 mics or above it was a must get & if it was above 3 it was still a good worthy album

Other signs of biased was David Mays son Benzino, his group "Mad Men" would ask for artists to feature an there albums in exchange for good reviews & positive articles. Not only that, they gave the Mad Men album 4.5 mics, when the album was SHHHHIIIITTT

XXL is way better rap mag, so The Source & there awards can shove em! Racist mutha fuckas
