My Top 5 Canadian Joints of the week
« on: October 26, 2003, 11:19:45 PM »
Even tho nobody seems to care about the Canadian Music industry, I'ma do this anyway, so here goes......

1.  Big Black Lincoln "Pimpin Life"
This song has been out for a while now, but the beat is just too fuckin dope.  I've never heard a beat like it.  It's just a feel good song.

2.  Swollen Members "Watch This"
First Single off their 4th album "Heavy".  This one has Madchild singin the hook, wich he is pretty good at.  Mad spits a dope verse "Listen bitch I'm a tough act to follow, suck my dick and here's a nutsack to swallow"

3.  Tamia "Officially Missin You" (Remix)
A Midi Mafia production (who are also Canadian).  Midi Mafia also Produced 50 Cent's "20 Questions".  This beat is fuckin dope.  "Dirty swift, hit the buckets man"

4.  Choclair "All I need In This World Is You"
A Solitair production.  Solitair's beat boxing the whole way thru too.  Very dope song, better that "Skyline".

5.  Langdon Auger "Island Nights"
This was our Summer Anthem this year in Vancouver.  Langdon is an artist out of Victoria BC.  Just a dope summer song.

That Tamia remix has Talib Kweli on it right? If its the same song then yeah I really like that track, the beats got some nice change ups and shit, and although she hasn't got the best voice ever, its not annoying and it compliments the beat well.

You got any stuff by Abdominal any of you Canadians. I bought DJ Format's album like three weeks ago, and I'm really feeling Abdominal's performances on there. Has he released anything locally, singles or albums, cause I can't find anything about him anywhere. He's from Toronto I think.
