Biggie Remixes
« on: October 28, 2003, 09:38:49 PM »
What are some of the best Biggie remixes you can think of?
I'm unsure why but I've never felt his old beats, his flow can be close to flawless but the production ruins it for me, what are the best, new, bangin' remixes with B.I.G.?

Crazy...lol
I alway's felt everyone loved Easy Mo Bee...
(Who handled most of BIG's classic material on RTD)

ImO Easy Mo Bee not only made clasic's track's wit' BIG...
"but Mo Bee also produced a couple of dope classic's for 2Pac.

Felt and loved all the old school B.I.G.

Did u mean re-tweeked like by Dj's & net kid's or offical remix track's like
"One more chance (stay wit' me)"
"Big Poppa (remix)"
ect...

I think you can get a better outcome a lot of times when you put '92 lyrics over a '03 beat.
If people copied the '90's style, it would sound dated, like going backwards..

Well official, but if it sounds great/better, what does it matter where it comes from.

Edit: What I actually meant by remix's I suppose, is current beats with Biggie verses on them, like Runnin' (Dying To Live).

You need to get your hands on the Rap Phenomenon mixtape that Dj Vlad & Dirty harry did.

Theres 50 tracks of remixes, freestyles and blends.  Its got Biggie over some of the sickest Dre beats, Primo ect...

Prolly my favorite mixtape ever.
