Uh... No.  He's dead.  The old Kurupt doesn't exist, I think he got locked in the vault at Deathrow and died there.

He's definetly not at his old level (which was amazing IMO) but he's dope as fuck on the Horsemen album. Another song he did recently that I liked was Boo Yaa Tribe's On Me. He killed that one.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I thought the Horseman album was good and im really liking it.. But then again as usual i've created my own album with all the unreleased horseman tracks added to my version.

 :D

Anyway on most of the tracks Kurupt and KP got ripped by Ras and bus and anyone who disagrees needs to take the mute button off and actually listen to what there saying.

 ;)

He wasn't rhymin' "bitch" with "bitch"? True, but "niggas" with "niggas", just listen to "The Four Horsemen Of Apolcalypse" ::)

Here's the proof: http://sandbox.pair.com/sound/horsemen_apolcalypse.ram ;)

My point of view. First of all this EP sounds like old material assembled, so it's not the "new" Kurupt back in old form, but it's the old Kurupt in form. And it's quite different. Other than that, you just cant compare him to Ras or Bis. I mean c'mon!!! You can replace Kurupt with today's Daz or Snoop and it's the same! Bis and Ras are just BETTER those days than anyone from the Pound. I'm not hating, since i'm a big Dogg Pound fan (Nima and Axle still remember my www.dpgrecordz.cjb.net site..), but i'm just saying that we have to face the fact that they've all lost his creativity. Bis is still creative. Ras is still an animal! Kurupt, today's Kurupt, is played out. Snoop is played out. Daz was never been an excellent MC (but a great producer). So no, Kurupt aint back in his OG form and never will, and yes, OBVIOUSLY, Ras and Bis are better in the album.
