That is ridicolous... take a look at Arsenal's record (since Vieira arrived):

97/98 - Double champions
98/99 - 2nd in league - Semifinal in the FA Cup
99/00 - 2nd in league - UEFA Cup finalist
00/01 - 2nd in league - FA Cup finalist - Quarter final in the Champions league
01/02 - DOUBLE CHAMPIONS again... pleezbelavit ;)

Vieira has been a first time regular in the majority of games in all those seasons... man just look at Arsenal's record.
