G-Unit held back so many tracks so many freestyles and they still got a better album out.

Maybe if brought his preppy sweater back he might sell more.
Inc Unit = Ja Rule + Ashanti + Charlie Baltimore + Cadillac Tah  ;D

I heard Ja's new one last night, it's alright. Average at best, more than I can say for that wack-ass G-Unit album.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Only 'cause "Blood In My Eye" is better than Rule's former releases (except his first one), people are kinda hyped on that album, but I think although it's good to see that he's improvin' his music, it's only an average output. And although the G-Unit joint was kinda disappointing for me, it's still better than Rule's album.

Now after havin' bumped both records in my ride and since it has been 2 full days strong since I first heard "Beg For Mercy" I would have to say the G-Unit record is better-even though I think it could have been better and I think 50 is slackin sometimes, thinkin' he to big for the rap game, its still a better album than Ja's.

If 50 said there won't be any disses on the album then they shouldn't put "I Smell Pussy" on it, no diss could be more directly than this one (I smell pussy, is that you Ja'?) ::)

Blood In My Eye - Ja's return to "real" hip hop.

"The Crown", "Clap Back", "Niggas & Bitches" - there's a lot of bangers on there. Best Ja album since Venni Vetti Vecci.

I voted for Beg For Mercy dispite not listening to Blood In My Eye cause I just can't imagine it being better.  Ja Rule is not, and never was a good MC and the production would really have to be amazing to be a better album.

BTW, did "The Wrap" make the album?  And if it did, is the beat still Mobb Deep's "Burn"?
