you talk like he killed 100's.  he was responsible for about 20 murders.  an it wasnt innocent people either.  it was people that were involved in that life an knew how it was.  an to show how much the us govt gives a shit about people.  they werent trying to lock gotti up for murder.  they wanted to lock him up b/c of the RICO laws.  long story short,  govt was losing money.  its hard to describe but if convicted gotti would of done life in prison with no parole.  they didnt have enough to charge gotti with that.  but on tapes they had gotti's right hand man sammy the bull on tape admitting to murders he committed.  sammy facing life in prison decided to become a rat to save his ass so they charged gotti with the murders b/c they coudlnt get him on the RICO laws.  If it never came down to money the govt would of gave 2 fucks about john gotti.  they dont give a fuck about who was dying b/c they knew that when some1 died it wasnt a innocent person.  it was some1 who lived that life.  the govt didnt give 2 fucks about the people.  it was all about money
