  ² ÛÛÛ      Bob Marly was your man. Prior to hs appearance in         ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      the singles chart with No WOman No Cry in 1975,           ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      reggea chart successes had been more of a novelty,        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      much like the European summer hits of the 70's and        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      80's. After Bob nothing was the same again. Witouth       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      a doubt Bob Marley is the best known reggea artist        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      of all time, born in St. Anns, Jamaica, on February       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      6th 1945. He began his career in 1961, creating a         ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      huge following throughout the West Indies, forming        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      his group The Wailin' Wailers in 1964. By 1967 his        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      songs were being recorded by other stars, including       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      Johnny Nash  who had a worldwide hit with "Stir It        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      Up". Bob Marley's real break came in 1974 when Eric       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      Clapton recorded and released his song " I Shot The       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      Sherrif", as a single, it topped the charts around        ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      the world, including the USA. No Woman No Cry, a          ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      chart topper for The Fugees in 1996, was Bob              ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      Marley's 60th single. He was already a huge star          ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      with reggae fans arond the world by the time of its       ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      release. This compilation holds rare Bob Marley           ÛÛÛ ²
  ² ÛÛÛ      songs from his early 70's work. A must have for ALL       ÛÛÛ ²
