my dumb question about islam...

the devil used to be one of Allahs angels, but he became cocky and refused to obey Allah's order, so God transformed him to the ugliest creature and sent him not to earth, but even lower than that. but the devil have no power in Islam... the tiny power he have have been given by Allah himself

Yeah.  There is common history.  Muslims believe in many of the same prophets and holy books as do Christians and Jews.  (Abraham, Moses, Jesus)  The difference is that we also believe in the revalations of Muhammad ibn Abdullah as the completed, final culmination of Allah's devine command.
