should we be allowed to hit our kids

im talking about like a out beating but im talkin about tha occasional spanking when they something wrong.  now a days if u yell at your kid if considered child abuse.  i think if tha kid does suptin wrong there aint nutin wrong wit tha occasional spanking.  im not talkin about as hard as you can tho.  but if u spank then its in there head not to do it again. Its fucked up when a parent beats there kid

Oh that's right, time out. Shoot man, when I got time out, I would go in my room and go play Donkey Kong Country or watch Power Rangers. Time out don't do crap unless your under the age of 4.

I am happy my parents spanked me because they made me a better person for it. Spanking gives you a reason to think about what you do before you do it because you know you will face consequences. It's just giving your child a sense of the real world.

And when I have kids, I will definitely spank them when they are way out of line. Not punch them or kick them, but a slap on the hand or the butt to show them they did something wrong and they shouldn't do it again. It's out of love, not anger or to be abusive.

I agree with Sikotic, spanking, slappin a bit is alright, to keep kids under control, but beating, punchin real hard n shit aint good.
