Above The Law?
« on: November 21, 2003, 02:28:30 AM »
Whats the deal with ATL these days? I hoped that we will get a new longplayer this year. Did anybody got any info about the Diary Of A Drugdealer album or other projects? The last thing was this Sex, Money & Music single. I cant find that disc in any store nor on the web. their website isnt updated for months now. Since they left death row i dont know what up with them.... a new album is overdue IMO.

yeah it is..

of the top of my head...

1.. the website is under redevelopment... at the moment the designer (am7) has technical problems preventing it.

2.. they were involved in that true crime game thing on a song called "Don't do the crime" with kam and someone called cavie. westcoast2k.net had a clip up.

3.. we reported on dubcnn that kokane has a kmg produced track on his next solo album 'Chicken Grease'. the song is called 'Tell It Like It Is'.

one of their older tracks was also on a movie soundtrack.

hasnt been much else at all really

Have you guys heard the singles Sex Money & Music and Ghetto Platinum yet? I think Sex Money & Music could blow up, and they would release the album better.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
