People are talkin about confidence, yeah you gotta have confidence, but not so much that you seem concieted.  You just have to be comfortable with yourself.  And the absolute best thing you can do is to make the girl feel good about herself.  This is a lot easier said than done, but it works, man it works.

You said you had problems getting girls.  So I offered a solution.  Go for easier girls, and it will be easier.  It sounds simple enough to me.... It wasn't said to put you down.
