many americans cant name those countries
you cant compare "americans not knowing other countries" with "europeans not knowing the 50 states of america"

the average "non-american" human know WAY MORE about other countries than the average american, for example:
80% of the american youth have never visited another country (compare that to 30% for european countries)
87% of the american youth cant locate iraq on the map
83% of the american youth cant locate afghanistan on the map
americans dont even know their own country, according to a recent test, made by "National Geographic":
10% of the american youth cant locate their own country on the map
25% of the american youth dont know the population of america
33% of the american youth cant locate the state of new jersey on the map
50% of the american youth cant locate the state of new york on the map
now how can you defend THAT^^

When 75% of Americans on TV are stupid, arrogant, selfobsessed etc., Americans have theirselves to blame.. quality-control on junk-TV would have been a nice move to improve the general impression of American intelligence.
What else than TV, magazines, newspapers, books & internet can you base your general opinion on, about a country you never been in, huh ??
Just look at U.K., they produce a whole lot of TV, but do you find all that garbage/trash shows that U.S. is producing.. ??
No, they have a much higher quality control on what they put the "U.K.-produced" stamp on.

what i was indirectly stating (and i didnt do a very good job...sorry) was that they cant survey all of america. surveying one place and getting results like that doesnt mean shit...because there are some areas of america where 90% of the population is illiterate or inbred and there are some areas where 90% of the population is genius business like mf's...you can't base all of america on a survey because it would take years to survey all of america and by the time it was done the results would be worthless.
