but why is everyone blaming americans for this? seriously you can think about that and say "oh yeah its their fault they are all dumb because they choose not to pay attention to the important stuff"...well thats not true...if that were true then the majority of americans wouldnt be like that. its an attention span thing. americans are raised different from say...europeans. europeans are raised to be more into the important things whereas americans grow up with sesame street, southpark, and the O.C. our school system is horribly fucked yes. we are definetely not #1 in education but we get some amazing people coming from our country. the fact is its not fair to blame americans as a whole for something that isnt their fault.

You're on target except on education. While our highschools are shit our universitys are excellent.

^^^ high school is where kids get most of their knowledge. high school is what raises the kids. not the parents, the teachers. high school is where you learn about everything you need to know about to survive the world of adulthood. and yet we fund our university's insanely and our high schools barely get shit. my high school had leaky roofs, shitty teachers, bathrooms with yellow toilets that used to be white, rusty pipes which gave us rusty water, and barely any rooms had heat. and they wonder why i had such a hard time paying attention...i could barely stay alive during class.

The average American doesn't want to hear someone saying, "Fuck America! It's a shit country." That's the tone that comes out of this place.

Thankfully I was raised in Ozone Park where the schools were great b4 the minorities turned it to shit.
