Daz = Selling out?
« on: December 22, 2003, 03:28:11 AM »
Daz joined So So Def, and now is gonna work with Nelly on his new album. I mean come on. Thats worse than Snoop getting Diddy to produce his next album. At least Diddy is some sort of hip hop legend. Nelly is just wack. + Hes not gonna pay Nate his royalties for the tracks he has/wants to get him on? Pleeez... Daz is selling out... Dont jump on me cos thats just my opinion... Just let me know what yall thin...

I think Daz is tired of being the underdog. He just wants some shine, and maybe doesn't give too much of a fuck how he gets it.

Fuck it, I bet Daz and Nelly could actually do something halfway dope. I won't knock that collabo til I've heard it, 'cause I have a suspicion they could both surprise us.

I hate Nelly, i have his albums burned but there a waste of blank cd's... I like 2 joints from him, "Ride Wit Me" (come on this was a nice summer time vibe track) & "Luven Me" (i like this cuz it sample is the same as Warren G/Jah Skills - "Super Soul Sis"). His last album was garbage and as for Daz i haven't been checkin' for him since he dropped DPGC. I scooped it bumped it twice and now it collects dust. The album was aiight, no creativity, recycled rhymes, wierd ass beats. "I Got Dat Fire" was bangin' thou. Daz is sellin' out. Sighning to So So Def was the last draw for me. I ain't even checkin' for him @ all nomore. His album is gonna be some wack comercial ass shit. What happened 2 the Daz that made "RR&GB" & "R.A.W."??? Even "This Is The Life I Lead" was a nice album. I can't say i blame Daz those. He's been in the game for so many years, worked with the best in the business, is one of the dopest slept on producers ever and dropped so much tight shit and gets no respect.
