Oh yeah...Mahatma Ghandi was an important person in helping India gain freedom, but there were many others who had to sacrifice their lives against the evil british. For example, Bhagat Singh, Sukdev Rajguru and many more.....

A lot of british goods had to be boycotted n so on n many many movements to achieve independence + the pressure of the world war helped india achieved its freedom.

But the britishers fucked things up b4 leaving india , they agreed on seperating pakistan from india and hence forth india and pakistan have been rivals...during the partition...many lives were killed on religious basis...hindus were killed who wanted to go back to their homes in pakistan, and vice versa with the others and muslims n so on.... al ot of blood shed took place

but we got our freedom
