why arent non muslims allowed into mecca

Latter Day Saints have churches, and temples.  Anybody's allowed to church, to visit, or just check us out, or eat, or whatever, but to go to the temple, only members with a recommend can go... basically, the bishop interviews you, to see if you're living a good life, LOL (not judging you)... they ask you questions, like 'do you believe in Jesus Christ as the son of god" stuff like that, and if you pass the little interview, you get a temple reccomend.  There's a ton of latter Day Saints that can't even go to our temples, because they don't have a reccomend, so I understand what Infinite's saying.

also, remember, in the bible, Sick, Old, poor, etc. weren't allowed in the temple.  Of course, Jesus tripped off that and got pretty mad about it, so I guess it would be bad to try and keep afflicted people out of mecca, lol.

mecca isnt equal to a "church" ... a mosque is equal to a church, and christians are welcomed to vists mosques... you shall not compare them like that
