when you have an IE window opened up...go to tools and then to internet options and change your homepage to something you like...for example...www.msn.com...

that will get rid of some of your pop ups

then while on msn.com in the search box type in "Spybot S & D" then click on a website that talks about that... on the left side of the site will be a download option... download that, install it and then run it on your computer.....follow the directions and it will get rid of all your spyware.... (but if you have kazaa don't get rid of the stupid shit that came with it....i think it's gator)

and like the guy said, get a firewall with pop up protection

1. Do not use Internet Explorer, it's crap.
Mozilla, Netscape & Opera blocks popups by default.

2. THIS will stop all the popups, even Kazaa & adware popups.
You can even set wildcards, e.g. block all windows with "free offer" or "casino" in them.

3. If thou MUST use IE, use Google Toolbar or Adsgone with it.

1.now all that might not solve you problem man ok check this out
u might have a worm downloaded into ur computer like litle programs that run when u start up ur computer man so u might wanna run msconifig type this shit in "go to Start then RUN then type msconfig ok then go to startup and then check all that shit out some of it might not be familiar so uncheck some if ur not sure
2.now the worms are hard to find so check this out ill hook u up with norton2k4 so itll scan ur system and check for AD WARE AND SPYWARE AND shit like that , cool eh   ;)
3.now from this happening again man u need NORTON INTERNET SECURITY which is a nice program so this is what it does:

Blocks Popups (over a couple thousand everyday)

Personal Firewall (it triggers things that try to download in ur computer without permission for example: if ur installing KaZaA and when u try to run it Norton Internet Security will come up and ask if u want this program to access the internet and click no, yes and u could configure it so its pretty bad cuz the last time some thing called Tinybar was downloaded into my computer and it was trying to access the internet so i blocked it and it tells u where its at and most of the times worms like that are in your windows folder and could fuck up your shit

And it has other good shit for u man and beleive its worth the download oh and its not free like cheap zone alarm cuz i dont use that cheap free shit get the good expensive shit or download it off of a filesharing for free and it works great

Oh and tell me if u want that Norton Internet Security or Norton Anti-Virus 2004 Pro and hope this shit helped out

Can't be that, Messenger Service doesn't deliver porn popups..
Neither changes the homepage..

I had exactly the same problem as you on my computer a few weeks ago. But we called a computer expert and he installed a firewall & Norton Internet Security and he said I had tons of "Temporary Internet Files" (these seem to install themselves on your hard disk which lessens your space a lot).

Now it's all good...I suggest you bring your PC to a shop where they can help you out. It will only get worse normally (that was the case with my computer, at first, only a few pop-ups, and after a few months, it was unbearable).
