The FBI did quite a bit of that after 9/11, actually. Neighbors reported "suspicious sounds coming from the apartment" to the feds, and they'd raid the place. They found out that the sounds came from a PC game. There were many stories like this in the media here after the time of the terrorist attack. Seems to me they'll raid a place just for the smalles doubt of crime.
