any got this album or any other coup albums? i remember the first time i heard this album i thought it was a joke. the first 3 songs or so are damn funny. but after listening to it a little while longer, i really started to like that album, A LOT. just wonderin if anyone else heard of boots and pam....

hell yeah, that album is banging.  i've got kill my landlord, steal this album, party music & genocide & juice.

what's fucked up is that i'd see the ads in the source, and i didn't know anything about "the coup".  so i didn't get the title "genocide & juice" i thought they were on some gimmick shit biting off snoop or hating on snoop or something.  it took me a couple months, but i saw the tape in a record store, and the cover was all blue, and that shit stood out so much that i picked it up.  i remembered seeing all those ads for it in the source so i purchased it.  and it was some hot shit.

but i almost didn't buy it initially.

and yes, when i graduated to cd's back in 96 or so i did make that upgrade.
